1A #13 Gerbil Yoyo TrickThis is trick #13 of the 1A Yoyo Trick Ladder, it is called the Gerbil, or Skin the Gerbil, and it looks like this.
If you need to learn this trick we have a video called Skin the Gerbil that teaches you how to do it. The trick ladder version is slightly different, so I will explain what the elements are in this video. You want to start with your Trapeze, then you are going to do a Forward Flip on the Trapeze to a Double Trapeze. You are going to get that off so you are back into a regular Trapeze. Do a Reverse Flip, then you can get it back onto the string in a Double Trapeze over the middle finger of your yoyo hand, over your yoyo finger. You are going to get it back off, which again puts you into a Trapeze. Then you are going to look like you are going to go for a Double Trapeze, but you are going to miss and then rotate the yoyo around one more time to get it onto the string. Then you just unwrap it. You are back into a Trapeze. That completes the trick. All you need to do is bring it back to your hand.
