We are confident in all the products that we carry and stand behind them. We have found that many products that may seem “broken” are often just in need of basic maintenance. If you contact us with a detailed explanation of the problem, we are often times able to provide a simple, easy fix to the problem.

What can be returned?

Unused products may be returned to the store within 30 days from the date the item was shipped for a full refund or an exchange. All items being returned must be in mint condition and unopened, they must include all original packaging, packing material, manuals, warranty cards, and other manufacturing accessories. If you do not have all of these materials, please contact us about returning your item.

If a product fails or is defective due to a manufacturing flaw, we will take it back within 30 days from the date the item was shipped for a full refund, repair, or replacement. Please note, we do not consider products to have failed or to be defective if they are simply in need of basic maintenance. Basic yoyo maintenance applies to yoyo strings, bolts, bearings, and response pads. These items all wear out over time, and in most yoyos they are easily replaced. Customers should expect to replace yoyo strings and response pads as they wear out, and should lube their yoyo bearings to keep them in working condition. However, if you feel these parts of the yoyo have failed prematurely, please contact us and we will work with you to solve problems on a case by case basis.

We do not accept returns for items that have been abused or damaged in any manner by the consumer.

Reimbursement for product returns and shipping (see below) will be made upon receipt of the product.


Only items that have been unused and unopened may be exchanged for a different product. The requested product must be equal to or more than the product being exchanged, with the cost difference being paid by the consumer.

The cost of shipping the new item will be paid by the consumer. Policy on Covering Return and Exchange Shipping

If you are returning a product due to a manufacturer defect, we will refund you for the cost of shipping the item back to us. The maximum amount we will refund will be the equivalent of US Postal Service 1st Class Mail (or Priority Mail if the item is too heavy to ship First Class). (If the product is not found to have a defect or manufacturing flaw upon return, you may be liable for the cost of shipping).

If you are returning an item that is either not defective or for an exchange you must pay the cost of shipping.

No returns will be accepted without a Return Authorization Number (RA#). We will give you an RA# once we determine that your item has been qualified for return or exchange. Rewards Program

The Rewards Program rewards buyer’s who make purchases by giving them 1 point for every $1 they spend in our store. Points are automatically awarded when an order is placed. Any refund or cancelation will result in a reversal of awarded points. The amount of points earned for purchase of kits and packs (and for on sale items) varies and is not always equal to 1 point for $1.

Points are not awarded for the value of shipping or tax and are only based on the value of products purchased with some exclusions. In addition, points cannot not be redeemed to cover the cost of shipping and free shipping qualification is applied and determined based on the value of the order after any discounts applied by points.

Points are not redeemable for real cash, but can be used during checkout from our store for discounts. Every 10 points can be redeemed for $1. There is a minimum redemption amount of 50 points (or $5) for any order.

Any purchase of a qualifying Throwback Skill Toys item will earn the user 2x the amount of points. Double points are not applied to small items inside packs. For example, purchasing a non Throwback Skill Toys pack that contains Throwback Cage Free Yoyo String will not result in double points.

Customers may also earn points when creating a new account and 1 time each year for their birthday. Please note that customers are only allowed to have one account. Customers creating multiple accounts or spam accounts are in violation of the terms of this agreement and such actions may result in termination of membership, banning from the store, and legal action.

Points cannot be shared across accounts and are non-transferrable.

Level Up! and Profile Terms

Users that sign up to use the Level Up! system and create a profile on our website agree and understand the information in our Privacy Policy about information collection and usage.

User uploading profile images to their account and/or using our comment, forum, and other communication features agree to not upload any images or content that violate our terms as understood in the follow: reserves the right to remove, without notice, any images or content that we determine is graphic in nature. Graphic content includes, but is not limited to, content that is sexual in nature; contains nudity, profanity, or violence; or promotes the use of drugs. Other content may removed at the discretion of makes no promise to notify the user of content removal and is not liable for the content uploaded by other users.
