Hacky-Sack In This Video:

How to Choose a Hacky Sack Hacky-Sack Trick
The first thing you are going to want to do when you get into Hacky Sack is get yourself a hacky sack, or a foot bag as they are also called. On YoYoTricks.com we carry 3 different kinds of what we would consider to be professional hacky sack s or foot bags. Those are the 6-Panel, the 14-Panel, and the 32-Panel hacky sacks. Just like in yo-yoing, you are going to find different pieces of equipment are better for different types of tricks. So it is important to know the difference.

The first thing is the 6-Panel hacky sack, and it is called that because it has 6 layers that are stitched together. This one you will see doesn’t really keep its shape or form when you squish it. That makes it ideal for doing stall type tricks. It is a little harder to control when doing kicks.

On the opposite end is the 32-Panel which if you compare those together you will see when I squish them this 32-Panel keeps its shape as a ball a lot better than the 6-Panel does, which makes the 32-Panel easier when you are trying to learn all different types of kicks and get really consistent at them.

You will notice we use the 6-Panel in all of our different videos. There are a couple reasons for that. Mainly it is the lowest cost foot bag that we have, which makes it ideal. We also wanted to show that although technically this one is easier to get your kicks and become consistent with those, you can do all the tricks with any hacky sack if you practice enough.

If you are looking for something in the middle, you are not sure what kinds of tricks would like – kicks or stalls – you can get a 14-Panel. You can see that keeps its shape better than the 6, but not quite as well as the 32, but because it is a little more squishy it is kind of like the hybrid where you can do kicks and stalls pretty easy. So it is actually a good one to get started on.

Now that you know that you can head over to YoYoTricks.com and pick out the hacky sack or foot bag of your choice and learn lots of tricks.

There are no hacky-sack tricks you need to know before learning this trick with your hacky-sack.
