Side Spike Kendama TrickThis trick is called Side Spike and it looks like this.
Just like that. To do this trick you are going to want to make sure you have a good understanding of all your basic cup tricks which we have videos on those so go check them out if you have not and in particular you want to be very aware of hole control. So to start the trick you are going to start off by holding the kendama in the Sara grip, the big cup is facing up. This time instead of popping up and getting the hole to face your body you are actually going to pull your arm to the outside and that will cause the tama to rotate around so that the hole is actually facing to the side. What this will do you will see is it will set you up so you can pop up and spike the Tama pretty easy and so that is all the rest of the trick, you are going to bend your knees pop it up, spike the trick and that is all there is to it. One tip that will help is make sure that when you are doing this, do not try to aim from really far away but when you pop it up try to keep the ken as close to the tama as you can to make aiming a little easier, but that is the Side Spike.
