Bungie Kendama Trick
In this video we are going to be learning the kendama trick known as Bungie, it looks like this.

Now, in order to do this trick, you want to make sure you know how to do Pull Spike, so if you do not know that trick, make sure you back to our previous video and watch that. To start this video off, you are going to have the tama hanging down just like this and what you are going to be doing is bend your knees to pull straight up like you would with a pull spike because you want to make sure the string is still on the top, which will help you control the bungie a little bit more. What is going to happen is when the tama comes up is you are going to use the bottom cup of the ken to hit it back down and that will cause the string to pull tight like this allowing it to snap back like a bungie cord onto your desired cup.

To give an example of what that looks like, you want to bend your knees, pop it up, hit the ball and you see when I pull the ken back it causes the tama to bungie back and you see when I did it I am hitting the top because if you pull it to the side and do it you can see how fast the ball spun that time. That is because when you do not hit it on the top you are going to hit the ball straight down, whatever direction it is going, and if the string is off to the side that will cause the ball to shoot up when you pull on the string causing a lot of rotation in the ball. So really make sure that you have a straight pull, like you do in your pull spike, you can see how much slower the tama spins and allowing you to control where the hole lands a lot easier.

There are a couple different variations of this trick which is pretty fun, makes it a really good transitional trick in combos. You can even do it off to the side, like this. You can even go a little bit riskier and bungie it from the base cup and do a Zero Gravity to catch it, just like that. Try out this trick, it is really fun, putting it in between other tricks you can do from, bungies, you can do it from juggles, lighthouse trades a whole bunch of different tricks and that is Bungie.
