Jump Rope Kendama Trick
Learn the Jump Rope Yoyo Trick for transitions between advanced string tricks.
Jump Rope Kendama TrickThis trick is called Jump Rope. It looks like this.
That is really the whole trick. All it is, is you are literally just popping the yoyo up. You are going to take your yoyo hand and you are just going to bring the string around your yoyo. Just like that. You will notice that there is actually a twist in your hand, so to get that out you can take your non-yoyo hand and untwist it. If you want you can actually do both of those motions at the same time. You can jump it and untwist your hand. You come back out into a normal Trapeze. So that is really the whole trick.
What this is great for, is being used in combinations to get yourself in and out of little twists in the string. You will notice in the Basic Green Triangle we showed you, if you pop up in the Trapeze you end up with a little twist in the string. But if you do a Jump Rope, you end right back up in a normal Trapeze. Which is really just a neat way to get out of it. If you want to you can combine those motions. Pop out, and do the Jump Rope before even landing in the Trapeze. That’s really neat.
That’s the whole trick. That is the Jump Rope. You are going to see us using it in some other later videos, so make sure you learn the trick. It is really cool. It is really going to help you advance your style of play. That’s the Jump Rope.
