Freehand (5A) Yoyo Tricks

Freehand yoyo tricks are done with the yoyo string attached to a counterweight instead of your finger. This makes possible a whole new set of tricks like the 360 and the Helicopter.

While any yoyo that is good for 1A Yoyo String Tricks can be used for 5A tricks by simply attaching a counterweight, for the best possible 5A experience we recommend yoyos that are designed specifically for this style of play. Yoyos like the Freehand Pro Yoyo and the Canon Yoyo, both come with their own counterweights, and are excellent for the full range of counterweight tricks.
