The current version of the Sage does not need thick lube for responsive play. Thin lube is all that is required for perfect responsive and unresponsive play. To upgrade the yoyo to unresponsive, you need to replace both the bearing (with the included VIP bearing) and the response pads (with the included Shadow Pads).
