These started out as a personal side project but turned into another obsession. Whether or not you’re into nylon strings, these will be a treat to at least check out. You’ll find that these have a super unique feel when compared to traditional yoyo strings. SkyLine has a soft and premium feel, a wide open slack formation, and a very pronounced, air cutting whip; it can be quite alarming upon first throw as to how different your yoyo experience will become. We find these to be fresh, fun, and exciting when you’re looking for new inspiration or just wanna shake things up a bit. We recommend giving these a nice, hard stretch before measuring and lacing up your yoyo in order to set a proper brake-in length and feel.

Why are these more costly than standard nylon or poly strings? Well, they are much more labor intensive to make and the material is nearly 70% more expensive than bulk poly. They are made in smaller batches to ensure consistency, and there’s a great deal of individual string handling. From the initial make, to hand washing, dying, inspecting and packaging – the entire process is quite involved. Part of the final stage of the process is to hand stretch and inspect each string, individually.

NOTE: This dye process/treatment does reduce the string length by a few inches, and starts them off very stretchy. We highly recommend giving these a nice stretch before lacing up, and after a few tosses (or a couple of minutes), the elasticity should settle in and even out.
