Learn how to do the yoyo trick White Buddha.

White Buddha Yoyo Trick
This is the trick White Buddha, and it looks like this.

To start this trick, you are going to start with a One-and-a-Half mount, except you are going to hit the top string and let the yoyo fall back down into the bottom string. After you do that, you are going to throw the yoyo back up into the top string and into your actual One-and-a-Half mount. From here you are going to swing the yoyo all the way over, just like you would in Buddha’s Revenge. After you do that, you are going to insert your thumb into the strings right here and create a triangle. After you create that triangle you are going to take the yoyo right here pop it though the triangle, out in front of the index finger of your opposite hand and throw it back through the triangle, back the way you came.

After you do that element, you are going to throw the yoyo back into a One-and-a-Half mount, but this time you want to preserve the triangle you have created with your thumb and your index finger here. What helps to keep the triangle as the yoyo is going around is to point your thumb down, lift your elbow up to do so, and then swing your elbow around and swing it back. As you swing it around you want to make sure to go around to the One-and-a-Half mount and immediately come back to this position with the triangle like so.

After you do that you are going to pop the yoyo back through the triangle out in front again, and now you are going to see that you have a complete wrap around your index finger, so just curl your index finger in and get rid of one wrap so that the string is just draped over the top of your index finger.

As you are doing that you are going to drop it as the yoyo is swinging over to the other side of your body, and you are going to catch it on top with the index finger of your yoyo hand, and you are essentially in a Double or Nothing, and his Brother mount. As you hit that mount, you are going to drop the string off of your index finger, just the front string. Then you are going to swing the yoyo all the way around your hands once. You don’t want to just go around your yoyo hand, because that will create a wrap in the bearing, you want to make sure you go around your opposite hand as well. Curl your index finger in to hold onto the string as you are doing that, and you will now be in a Trapeze and His Brother.

Once you are in the Trapeze and His Brother, you are going to pop the yoyo off, and go to the yoyo side of your body, and immediately get your index finger underneath here, so you can set yourself up for your One-and-a-Half mount. While I am doing that on this side, I am also uncurling my index finger and pointing it forward, on my opposite hand, to set myself up for the One-and-a-Half mount here.

From here you are going to do the first step in Buddha’s Revenge again. Now, the last part of this trick is similar to popping it through the triangle, but instead of missing both the strings, you are going to hit both of the top strings here, and that will set you up for the last element of the trick. You are going to hit the top of those strings and go around the index finger of your opposite hand and then immediately you are going to drop those double strings that you just threw the yoyo into. Now you are into this configuration, like so, and you want to drop the string that is coming off the index finger of your yoyo hand in such a way that you can get the string into the gap of the yoyo, and get it to essentially wrap around the bearing of the yoyo a few times so that way it looks like you are in a Trapeze.

To achieve that effect, especially with larger bearings yoyos, you are going to want to throw the string in there with some power, so that way it feels like the string is going to catch and bind up on you, but not so much that the yoyo snaps back to your hand.

Once you are in this position you can then pull your hands apart and get out of the trick and then bring the yoyo back to your hand. One other thing to note, is that if you are using a smaller bearing yoyo, when you drop that string you do not need to force the string into the gap of the yoyo. You can simply drop the string and the small gap of the yoyo will achieve the effect for you.

Other than that, that is the White Buddha.
