You are going to start off just like you do in Pull Spike, hold the base, let the cap hang down, and you are going to bend your knees and pull up and this time move your hand to the outside. You will see that will rotate the cap. When you pull up, you want the cap to come to about the level of your hand and rotate three quarters of a turn so that the hole ends up facing outward. From here, you are just going to spike it. It is very important that once you spike, you can not just hold it sideways because a lot of times, the cap falls off. You have to spike it and turn your hand up quickly, and that will keep the cap centered on the spike and it will not fall off. That is really all there is to it. One other tip, is you do not want to keep your hand too far away, that makes aiming the spike a little difficult, so try to keep it nice and close and that will make landing it easier. Once you have got it down, you can hold the cap and perform the side spike cap side. To do this, it is the same thing. You are going to pull to the side. Just practice that a little. Get used to doing it. Again, once it comes three quarters, you are going to stick the cap onto the spike. You have to do a little bit more of a hard and fast turn up on this one.
