Kunai with Chain Yoyo TrickIn this video I am going to teach you the trick Kunai with Chain, and this is what it looks like:

Before you learn this trick, you will want to make sure that you know how to do Branding. We also recommend that you go and watch our video Intro to Redirects. It will make it a lot easier to learn this trick. To start, you are going to do a breakaway and land in a 1.5 mount. From here you are going to drop the string coming from your non throwhand index finger, leaving you in this keychain-like mount. From here, you are going to take your non throwhand index finger and place it into the outside string. Then performing an underpass by bringing your opposite hand back to the opposite side of your body. This will leave you in a Sub Mount with the string over your finger. From here, you are going to swing the yoyo towards the non throwhand side of your body and upwards. Then you are going to let go of this front string that is on your throwhand and perform a redirect to bring it right back down. From here, you are going to dismount the Trapeze that you landed in and go right into the 1.5 mount. Now you are going to perform the basic redirect that we teach in our Intro to Redirects video. As the yoyo swings towards the opposite side of your body, you are going to let the string swing into your opposite hand index finger. You are going to push it down, causing it to redirect in the opposite direction. Now you are going to let the yoyo rotate around this finger twice, catching these three strings over your hand and pushing upwards to make the yoyo redirect again. But, instead of going backwards twice, you are only going to rotate the yoyo once and then you are going to use that momentum to perform another underpass, leaving you in the same Sub Mount we were in earlier. From here, you are going to swing the yoyo up into this top string, which is going to leave you in a 1.5 mount that is ready for a branding. Once you perform the branding, this leaves you in the regular 1.5 mount. So now that you are here, you are going to perform the final steps of White Buddha. You are going to swing the yoyo up and to the outside of the non throwhand index finger, leaving you here. Then you are going to roll the yoyo up into this top string and curl your non throwhand index finger back, causing these two strings to drop off. Now, you are going to drop the yoyo through the string, but not perform the stall like you would in White Buddha. To do that, you are going to drop these strings that are coming from your throwhand index finger. It looks like this. From here, you are going to remount back into a 1.5 mount and then let go of the string that is on your non throwhand index finger and swing the yoyo up towards the non throwhand side of your body, letting go of that string, causing it to bind. Now, you will notice that is a frontspin bind which has a good chance of the yoyo snagging. If you want to perform a backspin or clean bind, you can go into the Trapeze and his Brother mount, drop that string, and perform the same motion. And that is how you ddddddddd-dddddddddd-do Kunai with Chain.
