The Genesis with Hubstacks is the YoYoFactory Genesis improved. (Read the YoTricks’ take on the Genesis Yoyo to learn more.) While the shape of this yoyo is essentially the same as the original Genesis, the weight has been pleasingly redistributed to make the yoyo feel a bit lighter on the string and faster when working on high-speed tricks. Its black anodized finish is smoother to the touch than the finish on the regular Genesis making it fantastic for grinds, opening up a whole new world of tricks. And it has hubstacks. This is undoubtedly the best implementation of hubstacks on a high-end yoyo by YoYoFactory. Because of the smooth anodized surface of the Genesis with Hubstacks, the yoyo is more forgiving than other models if you happen to touch the sides of the yoyo when attempting to grab onto the hubstacks. Hubstacks allow you to hold onto the yoyo while it is spinning to turn it on its side, balance it on your finger, or to just catch and toss it back into the air. In addition, the Hubstack Genesis comes with a YoYoFactory CenterTrac Bearing for even greater performance, along with all the other accessories included with the original Genesis, including an extra set of slim pads, a multitool, and a spare SPEC bearing. If you are considering the Genesis, or any high-end metal yoyo, you can’t go wrong upgrading to the Genesis with Hubstacks.YoYoTricks.com Genesis with Hubstacks Review
After the Genesis was released in 2009 to rave reviews and massive popularity, YoYoFactory wondered if there was anything that they could do to improve this design. After testing a few different concepts, the overwhelming winner was the addition of YoYoFactory’s patented triple bearing Hubstack System. Not only do the hubstacks enable you to perform different tricks, but the additional weight and the altered weight distribution change the Genesis into a completely different beast.Manufacturer's Description of The Genesis with Hubstacks
