Welcome Back to the Weekly Yoyo Update.

This week, we are excited to release the all new BOOST yoyo from yoyofactory. This yoyo is an absolute powerhouse designed from the ground up by 6 time US national 3A champion, Alex Hattori. Alex is a genius, plain and simple, he studies robotics at MIT, where he has won awards for his competitive Battle Bots, which is super cool. So when yoyofactory gave Alex the opportunity to design his own signature yoyo, he sought to create a new bi-metal yoyo with a serious boost in performance to continue dominating the competition.

What makes the Boost so unique is that it is really light, around 64 grams, allowing for extremely fast play, but with such a light weight, it doesn’t compromise on stability. In fact, we were really blown away by how stable and powerful this yoyo feels on the string. This is a feature that you might find on high end Japanese bi-metal yoyos in the $200 range, but when the Boost comes in at just $79.99 for solid colors and $84.99 for splash colors, that’s a great deal.

Even at low spins, the Boost keeps from tilting, making it a great choice for not just 3A, but also for 1A and 5A, this yoyo really excels where other light yoyos fall to the wayside. The power you get out of this yoyo is truly uncompromising, you have to feel it to believe it.

And now over to Chris with the Instagram Contest.
